Life in the Crypt - Update #16 – Strange times.

It feels strange to be writing about the production of crypts during a time like this but our backers are due an update. Manufacturing has been slowed down a bit, but not stopped.
We should have the semi-precious stone and metal dice sets this week. For those backers that ordered just dice, we will be shipping those next week.
The Dice Crypts will begin being cut on the CNC machines next week.

Many Comi-Cons were canceled, so we have not had a chance to show off Dice Crypts in public. They patiently rest in peace for the moment.

Life in the Crypt - Update #15 - Production underway.

Our manufacturer has prepared all of the raw materials (wood) and is starting the production of Dice Crypts. First step is the carving of the basic Crypt bodies. Then they are off to be laser engraved, final sanded, and finished. Shipping box artwork and dimensions have been finalized.
The crypts were well received at both at PAX South and last week at Pax East. Great questions, interest and some pre-orders. Next week we take the cemetery to Emerald City Comic Con in Seattle.

Approval of our trademark application from the United States Patent and Trademark Office was another neat milestone (a bit different than a tombstone!)

Life in the Crypt - Update #14 – Orders Locked, production progress, and PAX South visit

The lid has been sealed on Dice Crypt Orders. Backer reward choices have been locked and the manufacturer has the majority of the wood sourced and on premise. We did order extra Crypts based on backer preferences. Those will be available for purchase once all Kickstarter orders are filled. The Black Velvet/Dark Blue Satin bags came out great. Every Crypt comes with one of these.

Life in the Crypt - Update #13 – Orders Almost Locked

We had a great response to the Dice Crypt samples shown at PAX Unplugged with many a pre-order postcard taken from its resting place.
Our boney finger pressed the “Lock Orders with Final Notice” button in BackerKit. A bit dramatic sounding perhaps, it moves the project closer to the end while giving backers 48 hours to make any final changes. For those that have completed surveys (95%) your cryptic choices have been noted and orders have been placed.
